The road to Pine Canyon requires a high ground clearance vehicle (4x4 preferred). Check with the rangers at the Panther Junction Visitor Center for the latest road conditions. The map above was taken from the "Detailed Park Map-no shaded relief" available from the NPS BBNP Maps page.
The "pool" at the end depends on if there has been any rain recently. Of course, you're not supposed to wade or swim in any of the pools in the park other than the Hot Springs.
